Many patients ask, “Is LASIK covered by my insurance?” The answer depends on your specific plan. Most insurance providers consider LASIK an elective procedure, which means it’s not typically covered. However, some plans may offer partial benefits or discounts through vision insurance partnerships or employer-sponsored programs.
At Oakbrook LASIK, we accept a variety of insurance plans and can help you determine if your provider offers coverage or discounts. Simply share your insurance details with our team, and we’ll handle the verification process.
Oakbrook LASIK is pleased to announce that we are now accepting CountyCare Insurance. While LASIK surgery itself may not always be covered, CountyCare members may qualify for coverage of pre-operative consultations, evaluations, or other related vision care services. We encourage all CountyCare members to contact us to verify their benefits and learn how to take advantage of their insurance.
